Isaiah 43:4, New International Version (NIV)

4 Since you are precious and honored in my sight,
and because I love you,
I will give people in exchange for you,
nations in exchange for your life.

There is nothing like hearing those three little words:

I love you.

Usually when I see those words in the Bible I will draw a heart around or next to it.

Then, when I’m flipping through my Bible those hearts grab my attention. My heart beats a little faster at the wonder of God’s love for me.

Just like when you are in a relationship with someone, it’s important to hear and say those three little words. The LORD wants you to know that He does love you.

He wants you to order your life around that settled fact that You are loved, You are precious, and You are honored.

You might not feel like it. The people around you might not let on that you are, but God’s Word says that you are.

I recently bought a sign that says, “What would you attempt if you knew you could not fail?”

It is somewhat inspiring to me to read it, but I think I should make one that says:

What would you attempt if you knew you were loved beyond measure, precious beyond price, and honored by the Creator of all?
